NEW TRAINING SERIES
We are offering you a recession fighting opportunity to learn the Lyons method!
We have put together a series of one day clinics that cover a variety of topics and you can take one or take them all - it's up to you!
Each clinic is $85.00 + tax or prepay all six for $450 + tax.
Pre-registration is a must. Limited Spaces available.

Week One - May 1st - Riding for Control. 
You will learn lessons to improve control of the different parts of your horse and why you want it.
Week Two - June 19 - Focus on the Head. 
Learn how to deal with bridling issues and how to get and maintain that head set you want without gimmicks.
Week Three - July 17 - Shoulders that Work. 
We will improve our directional control by focusing on the shoulders.
Week Four - Aug. 7 - Whoa!  Stand Still. 
Important lessons for mounting and improving your horse's stopping power.
Week Five - Sept 11 - Emotional Training through Obstacles. 
Teaching our horse how to handle excitement is important to our safety.
Week Six - Oct 2 - On the Trail -
Pack a lunch and enjoy the day on the trail where we will use real life obstacles to teach lessons.
Limited to 10 riders per clinic.  We will be offering a second group, if necessary, that will run the following day, so dates will be May 2, June 20, July 18, Aug 8, Sept 12 and Oct 3.  All sessions will be at our Elmvale facility.  Class is 10 AM - 4 PM. Haul in for the day only or if coming from a distance, stalls are available for $10/night with you supplying bedding, buckets and feed.


Start Your Own Colt
During this five day course, you will use the round pen and ground
exercises working up to the first saddling and ride on your youngster
Limited to 4 participants
Horses must be minimum of 22 months of age,
able to be safely trailered and handled

Cost $500/person + tax
includes DIY stall for your horse
You bring bedding, feed and buckets

Round Pen Basics
This one day program will teach you and your horse
the basic maneuvers used in the round pen for
starting horses and correcting problems
Limited to 6 participants

Cost $175/person +tax

Riding for Control
In this program you will establish control of the different parts of
your horse's body.  Exercises are simple and easy to achieve with time
allotted for practice. Your new skills and understanding will enable
you to continue your  horse's training at home.
Limited to 8 participants

3 Day - $400.00/person + tax
2 Day - $300/person + tax
includes DIY stall for your horse
You bring bedding, feed and buckets

 

Night School
  Learn the basics of the
Lyons Conditioned Response training methods in a class
environment using our horses.  Round pen techniques,
bridle work and the calm down cue are just
a few of the topics that will be covered in this 6 week course.

Cost $275.00/person +tax

Trail Skills Clinic
Learn skills that both you and your horse need to help
keep you safe on today's trails.
During this program you will learn to control your horse's body using
proven conditioned response exercises.  These techniques will then
be used to teach crossing rivers, bridges and other obstacles that
and your horse will encounter while on the trail.  Don't be fooled - Trail horses must
be superior in their training to ensure your safety on the trail. 

3 Day Clinic  - $400/person +tax
2 Day Clinic  - $300/person +tax

Horse Boot Camp
This 5 day adventure filled program will improve your confidence and safety
while you enjoy time spent with your horse.  From the arena to the trails,
we will cover many topics and teach new skills to you and your horse.

5 Day Boot Camp - $500/person +tax


Trouble Shooting
Have a problem horse? Do you need help figuring out what your horse's
issues are?  Don't know where to start?  Private one day sessions available
to help sort things out and set up a suitable program for you to work
towards a better relationship with your horse.

$300/day plus travel +tax

We offer bunkhouse accommodations right at the farm, on a first come, first served basis.  It will house 2 groups of 2 OR a group of up to 6 friends.  Includes full kitchen facilities & bath.
