We’ve added a large outdoor obstacle park to our training facility and will be offering clinics and also a chance to stay with us and use the park and local trails.  Check out our retreat package on our Clinics page.
Spring is just around the corner, that is if you don’t listen to the rodent!  Horses are shedding and it’s not dark by the time chores are done, so that’s sign enough for me.  The 2018 schedule for clinics is now available and we will be offering more Riding for Control dates this year.  It’s something that is so necessary before you can succeed with obstacles. I love this quote from Buck Brannaman - “There’s folks that say “Nah, I don’t need all that fancy riding stuff, I just want to trail ride.  That’s like saying I’d going to die in the trees instead of the arena!”  Some food for thought as to why having control of your horse’s body parts is so worth the effort!  See you at a clinic…… It’s been a wet and cool summer followed by a wet and cool autumn…..oh but summer did show up briefly in September!  We are now heading into the Holidays and I want to wish everyone a wonderful Christmas season!  Hope to see you in 2018! I had the opportunity to spend 10 days in TN during the second session of the Josh Lyons Accreditation program.  Horse training is never boring and ever changing.  There’s so many new things to learn since I graduated in 2008!  Congratulations to the newly accredited trainers!
