Clinic FAQs

We will address some of the questions you may have regarding participating in one of our clinics.

Q: What level should my horse be at to participate?

A: If you are participating in a riding clinic, your horse should be able to be ridden at a trot in the company of other horses. If it is a ground work clinic, he should be broke to lead.  As we all have experienced, our horses are not as comfortable away from home, as they are when we ride or work with them at home.  You will find as you begin the exercises taught in the clinic, your horse will get better. If we never step outside our comfort "bubble", we will never achieve the next level of performance from our horse.  There is always an opportunity to address your specific issues within the clinic, just ask.

Q: How do I know I should participate?

A: Many people deal with anxiety or fear when riding their horses.  Many others don't realize their horse's behavior is unsafe.  If you are looking to learn new information that will help you deal with your fears, safety or riding skills, you will enjoy participating in a clinic.  You do not come to show how much you know but rather to add to what knowledge or skills you have.

If you have a question about our clinics, what is involved, how to do participate etc. please contact us.  I will be glad to help and  include your question with the answer here for other readers.  Don't be shy - this is where your journey starts to get better!
